Coach Josh was a competitive gymnast from 1995 to 2000, training optional levels. In 2011, he started coaching tumbling and gymnastics. During that time, he realized his niche for biomechanics and his ability to break down movement for children of all ages. Not only does he coach, he is a certified personal trainer for all ages. This has helped many cheerleaders and gymnasts achieve their goals. 2014 was the year he started a Boys Team that went on to win the USAG State Championship. In the seasons after, he continued receiving state and regional titles for his boys team. He expanded his horizons to coach all levels of girls competitive gymnastics. Although he is USAG certified to teach all apparatuses, he specializes in tumbling, bars, and vault. During his six years of coaching girls teams, he has been consistently developing gymnasts that win USAG State and Regional Competitions.
Coach Allegra is not only a passionate gymnastics coach, but a mother of three beautiful children. Gymnastics has been in her life since she was six years old. After competing for eight years, while training level optional levels, she took a step back and was interested in a different aspect of gymnastics. When she was fifteen, she began coaching gymnastics. Her focus is preparing young gymnasts physically and mentally for the competition atmosphere. Throughout her coaching career, she has successfully run many different programs including summer camp, a recreational gymnastics meet, and developmental gymnastics. She believes in a well rounded gymnastics education; from respect to hard work. Her bottom line is,
“Fundamental strength and skills are the most important aspects of this sport to keep the gymnasts healthy and happy!”

She is now our recreational director and has a fabulous foundational curriculum for our gymnastics and tumbling programs. She is happy to be a part of the Gladiator Staff and share her diverse expertise with us!
